Leasehold Reform (Amendment) Bill

Recently The Leasehold Reform (Amendment) Bill passed through the House of Lords and is awaiting Royal Assent.

Once Assent is received the new law will allow: “long leaseholders of flats who are unable to sign, for whatever reason, the legal notices necessary to trigger an individual lease renewal or the collective enfranchisement process” to delegate the task to a third party such as a lawyer. Very sensible in our view! Congratulations to ALEP and Seddons for making it happen.
